Pure Distilling Whiskey Port Barrel Chunks

500g of Chunks from the same Port Barrels that will age Premium Tasmanian Whisky.

Soak 100g per litre of spirit as a general guide or to our personal taste.

1st soaking add 2.5 litres of spirit to 500g of Pure Distilling Chunks and leave to soak for 6-8 days then drain off the chunks.

2nd soaking add a further 2.3 litres of spirit and soak for 10 – 24 days depending on taste then drain off the chunks.

3rd soaking add a further 2.3 litres of spirit and soak for a minimum of 5-6 weeks depending on taste then drain off the chunks.

The last soaking can be improved by adding Pure Distilling Scotch Whiskey essence.
